Recap. What I wore this week, 7/8/17-7/15/17.

I’ve decided to make this blog a recap of my week – what I wore and what I did.  I’m also mixing in a few of my favorite photos of the week. In addition to fashion, I love taking pictures of flowers and nature.

Photo credit:  Dray Scurry.   I just love this!

Saturday:  I wore a mesh dress from Free People over distressed jeggings from Target and a black tank top.  I wore the BEST shoes from Zara online.  They are grey, black and white with gold micro studs.  I’m so in love with these shoes!  These were my first  purchase from and I’m now a big fan!  The gold necklace is from Stitch Fix.  The wild sunflowers were free!

Sunday:  A picnic at Davidson Mesa in Boulder, CO.  I threw down my Grandma’s handmade quilt for a photo shoot/picnic.  I’m wearing a purple sundress from H&M.  The straw hat with black pom pom trim is from Rachel Zoe’s Box of Style, June, 2017.  Also wearing black gladiator flat sandals by Dolce Vita (old) and a gold necklace and bracelet.  Highlighting my favorite wild sunflowers again!

Good morning Monday!  Hot air balloon coming right at ya!  This picture was taken from our back deck!  What a beautiful place to live – just look at those Rocky Mountains with snow still on them mid-July.

Monday:   Wearing a red stripe short dress from Mango as a tunic by tying up the side, with a kimono by Angie from Nordstrom and white jeans and red mules.  Necklace is from Italy – a souvenir from my trip (of a lifetime) to Italy in April, 2017.

Showing some Jeep love.  I’ve had this Jeep for 17 years and I LOVE it!  It was originally mine in 2000.  I gave it to my Son when he graduated from college in 2005.

He sadly died in a motorcycle accident in 2006 and I got the Jeep back.  I drive it everyday.  His flip flops are still in the back seat.  In fact I haven’t changed much of what he did or had in the Jeep.  Yes, I’m even keeping the big tires and the 6″ lift kit that he installed.  Driving the Jeep brings me peace.  I know how much he loved the Jeep.  Of course I do too – but now even more. IMG_2675

Wednesday:  An off-the-shoulder dress from Loft.  This dress is so comfortable and easy to wear.  I love the tie cuff sleeves and the option to wear it not off-the-shoulder, as I did for work today.   Wearing the dress with the awesome flats from Zara and gold link necklace and bracelet from Ann Klein (old).

Wednesday evening:   Wearing the off-the-shoulder dress on, styled it more casually with jeggings from Target, black and white Nike slides and a simple black string choker.

Our neighborhood had a Yappy Hour event for our dogs.  Sebastian enjoyed a dip in the pool.  They wanted him to dunk for hot dogs, but he decided to lay down first and then eat the hot dogs.

Thursday:   I went to the Erie Farmer’s Market after work and got some veggies!

Wearing an olive green blouse from Target with a pair of my DIY cut off denim, brown sandals and a straw fedora.

Friday:  I’m loving this outfit!  Maybe not the most stand-out outfits, but oh, so comfy!

Black V-neck Lou & Grey tee from Loft from their Signaturesoft Collection with a shirt tail hem line.  Cabi distressed skinny jeans.  Black furry flip flops by Steve Madden from Marshall’s.  Silver bib necklace from Chico’s and a Brighton silver gator bracelet from my sister.

And the furry flip flops…are they not the best???

Saturday: wearing a new cherry red off-the-shoulder blouse from Loft.  I just love it!  I’m really getting into the off-the-shoulder trend.  Wearing my distressed jeggings from Target – a go to piece for sure!  Also wearing brown leather clogs and a Murano glass necklace from Murano, Italy.

And I’ll end the week with this pic of me trying on a watermelon dress!

Thanks for following along!  😘
