Recap of week 7/31 – 8/5/17.

The Dog Days of Summer!

Monday:  Pink distressed jeans from Kohl’s.  Grey asian inspired jacket has to be at least 10 years old.  It’s by Willie Smith from TJ Maxx.  Grey lace up wedges by Carlos Santana from Marshall’s.

Loading up on my fruits and veggies for a healthy week of eating!

Tuesday:  Dusty blue embroidered tunic with a cape like feature, worn with white distress jeans from Express and snakeskin leather, blocked heel sandals from Capris Italy, and multi strand pearl necklace from Target.

Tuesday night was Neighborhood Night Out.  The focus is safety.  All the neighbors go outside and chat it up.  Local police and firemen come by our neighborhood to meet the neighbors and entertain the kids.  Sebastian is always a hit with the kids – except those with cookies and ice cream.  He kinda follows them closely, hoping for them to not pay attention or to drop their treats.

Wednesday:  Black tee maxi from Victoria Secret. Sold as a swimsuit cover up a year or so ago.  I’m wearing it with a tan leather necklace from Italy and tan leather wedges by Reaction Kenneth Cole.

I wore a flannel shirt around my waist, because this is how I really looked at work, with a flannel shirt on, since my office is cold. 🙂

Thursday:  Wearing black cropped flair pants from Target Who What Wear Collection with a cobalt blue blouse with tiny cut outs on the front. Thankfully it’s lined.  Also wearing black mules and a black leather jacket.  Today the weather dipped into the 70’s (for the high temps!).  Also wore some blue Murano glass jewelry from Murano, Italy.  It matched perfectly to the top!

Friday:   Show me your blue!  I’m wearing a lace cut out peplum blouse from Loft, Hudson Jeans with frayed hem and BCBG Generation brown suede block heel sandals.

Friday night:  A gorgeous sunset over the Rocky Mountains.  This photo was taken from our back deck.

Getting in some exercise over the weekend.  I lived in this workout outfit bought at your local King Sooper’s grocery store.  I normally don’t shop for clothing at the grocery store, but it was 50% off with an additional 15% off coupon.  These running pants and top are both made by Bally’s.

Hope you had a great week last week!  I appreciate your comments or suggestions as I’m so new to blogging!

xo,  Cindy

  1. One of my friend’s kids worked at one of the King Soopers that sold clothing—I was skeptical until we were there—and there was some good stuff!! Hey– a deal is a deal—it doesn’t matter where it comes from, right??
I love how you accessorize!! The things you purchased in Italy are such stand outs, Cindy!!
