Love planted a rose and the world turned sweet.

Monday: I was inspired by my niece, who had her picture taken by a professional, to copy her look and post us side by side…although miles and miles apart.
So here we are in our white distressed jeans, denim tops and nude pumps. Only 22 years separate us. I think this speaks to how you can wear the same styles as younger aged fashionistas!
Tuesday: I was at an off-site meeting all day. I knew I had to dress warm, as conference rooms are usually too cold for me. And I knew I wanted to dress comfortable, as I would be sitting all day. I chose to wear printed leggings, from Amazon and a taupe tunic from Amazon and a black cotton long cardigan from Maurices (purchased last Fall). I’m also wearing black peep toe booties from last year.
Wednesday: Off-the-shoulder dress from Loft with black strappy, gold studded shoes from INC. Gold necklace from Stitch Fix. Love this dress because while I’m at work, the shoulders go up for professional office attire.
Wednesday night: Walking Sebastian and taking in the sunset. Both are picture worthy don’t you think?
Thursday: A dress with jeans…a favorite style! Wearing a short-sleeved sweatshirt dress from Free People with distressed, frayed hem jeans, brown suede J41 shoes and a Murano Glass necklace from Italy. The shoes are several years old and so comfortable! The necklace is just perfect with this dusty rose dress.
Friday: Wearing the cutest black cotton dress by Catherine Malandrino with tassel trim from Marshall’s. And the best part…it was on clearance, $20. I love a good buy. Just to confirm…I think dresses with distressed jeans (and heels) is my favorite style! It’s so comfortable for work and you don’t have to worry about your dress being see thru!
Saturday: Showing off another Marshall’s Clearance item. This red kimono, by Angie, was $13 at Marshall’s. It looks perfect with my red sock boots from Zara! I wore skinny, high waisted jeans from H&M and a white cotton tank top and a red Murano glass necklace.
The red kimono looks equally good as a swimsuit cover up. I’m wearing an older red one piece swimsuit, nude wedges by Reaction Kenneth Cole, and a straw hat.
Saturday afternoon: We have perfected chillin in our hammocks! Sebastian has perfected his deck naps.
Thank you for reading my blog. I appreciate any comments or suggestions as I am new to blogging.
