Family time is good for the soul.
Started the week off visiting my Daddy in Georgia. 2 of my 3 sisters were able to join me, as well as a niece and brother-in-law. We had such a good time. Daddy is doing so good, it’s been 1.5 years since Mom died. He is so sweet, content and positive while living a good life by himself, at 86 years old! So proud of him and love him so much!
Sunday: During a photo shoot with Sherry, my Middle Sister (from Middle Sisters Style on Facebook), we hung out downtown in Cartersville, GA. Yes, I had my sister take a quick pic of me on the railroad tracks. I had to hurry, this is an active train track!
Sunday: Yes, we had a couple outfit changes for our photo shoot. Here we are being silly beside the railroad tracks! We had such fun – changing in the back of her car and finding fun areas to take pictures. Oh, the glamorous life!
Here are a few of our shots! Always fun to have a partner in crime! ha!
Monday: Wearing an navy dress with tassel ties from Old Navy. Also wearing white sneakers from Target. Comfy and cool in humid Georgia! On Monday, Dad and I drove to Jasper, GA to see my sister and do some shopping at local boutiques. I got several new items…more to come on that!
Tuesday: Before flying back to Denver, Daddy and I did some exploring in the area. Here I am in Euharlee Covered Bridge area – just outside Cartersville, GA. I’m wearing a pair of jean shorts that I cut from long jeans and then I dipped in bleach one half of the shorts. It’s kinda hard to see from this picture, but half of the shorts are light denim and the other dark denim. Fun! I’m wearing a floral top by Lucky Brand.
Landing in Denver Tuesday night. Home Sweet Home.
Wednesday: Wearing a pair of distressed, embroidered jeans by Silver Jean Company, from Daisy’s Boutique in Jasper, GA. I love them! I love the subtle embroidery on the hip and knee. I’m also wearing a navy top by Amanti from Marshalls – that my sister gave me. I like that it has a little bling on it! Plus it’s so comfortable! Win…Win!!
Thursday: Just a regular ol’ work day for me. I’m keeping it simple with white capris from Banana Republic and a super soft black tee from Loft by Lou & Grey. Accenting the black and white with red wedges and a red wooden necklace. Can’t go wrong with black and white…according to me!
Friday: I’m wearing the cutest plaid and paisley shirt dress by Mystree. This was one of the items I purchased from Daisy Boutique in Jasper, GA. It’s very light weight and comfortable for this transitional time between Summer and Fall. I’m also wearing distressed jeggings by A.N.A. from JC Penney, and a black ribbed tank top and a pink vintage looking necklace.
I’m absolutely loving all the sunflowers that are on the sides of roads and in the fields. They are such a happy flower! #Coloradolivin
Sebastian got a bath today. Here is a pic taken by his groomer. She says he loves his bath! I think he is smiling! 🙂
Saturday: Fun with friends! Jodi (www.jtouchofstyle.com) and Rob came for dinner and fashion shoot!
Free People red floral maxi dress with red sock boots from Zara. Cropped denim jacket is old – but the hug floral patch on it is new – the patch was ordered from Amazon and sewn on.
Sebastian, you just got groomed!!
