Photo taken from my car on my way home from work.

Sunday:  Photo shoot wearing a black gown I bought over 8 years ago.  It never fit very good so I recently had it altered and now it fits perfectly!  I love it so much!  I didn’t want to take it off!

Monday:  Wearing those furry, block heeled sandals from Target again today! Also wearing a burgundy round neck light weight sweater from H&M with a sleeveless bow-tie blouse underneath.  Black distressed jeans from JC Penney.

Tuesday:  Snow day!  I wore a pair of snow boots by Roxy (old) and black leggings from Target (old) with a burgundy turtleneck (very old), a cable knit sweater by Ralph Lauren (old) and a black puffer vest with faux fur trim by Ralph Lauren. I purchased the puffer vest over the summer from Marshall’s on clearance. Love a good find on clearance!

Wednesday:  I’m wearing a dark floral hi/lo hem dress from Target’s Who What Wear collection 2016.  The long black cardigan is new from Daisy Boutique in Jasper, GA from a recent visit to see my dad.  It’s by Catherine Lilywhite, and made in Italy.  I haven’t worn it before and I absolutely love it!  It’s a pretty thick cotton layer that felt so good today in the just below freezing temps this morning.  I’m wearing black socks with my cream mid-calf boots that are very old and purchased from Victoria’s Secret.  I’m also wearing cream wooden beaded necklace from Tri Vintage and Wares in Lafayette, CO.

It’s a bright sun shiny day!  I’m doing my part to add brightness to the day! 😉

I’m wearing a sleeveless sweater from H&M that I got on clearance for $10.  I’m wearing a bright pink tee underneath that I got at Forever 21 years ago.  I’m wearing an old pair of 7 for Mankind jeans (seriously…I wore them in 2006) that I DIY cropped.  I had to wear cropped jeans to show off these amazing red sock boots from Zara!  They are my favorite boots EVER!

Thursday night Dray and I attended the first fashion show for Denver Fashion Weekend.  So many fashionable people attending!  The venue, music, food and drinks were just outstanding.  The fashion was really good too.  We had front row seats!

Friday morning flight to Atlanta.  Beautiful sunrise from my window seat.  Yeah, I’m pretty tired after only 3 hours of sleep!  Since I moved to Colorado, I make sure I get back to visit my dad every couple/few months since he is now 86.  My mom died a year and a half ago.  Dad is doing great.  With 4 daughters he gets lots of visits and attention from us. He is such a sweet man and truly a joy to spend time with!

It’s Charlee’s birthday weekend!  My sister Sherry’s first grand baby and my dad’s first great grand baby.  She is just adorable!

Saturday:  Charlee’s first birthday party day!  She had a wonderful party,  lots of family and friends were there to help her celebrate!

Thank you for reading my blog and following along in my adventures.  I appreciate any comments and/or suggestions as I’m new to blogging.  Until next week…

xo, Cindy

  1. Doesn’t it make such a difference when you get items altered, Cindy? I can even do my own alterations, and still many times I put it off, and then am so surprised when it’s done!!!
You are so wonderful to make the trek back to Georgia so often!!
    Have a fabulous week!!
    XOXO
