Sunday: Holiday party inspiration.  Just add a satin pajama top with a pair of dress pants and heels.  Done!  This is an actual pajama top from Victoria’s Secret, paired with black dress pants from Cabi Clothing, multi-colored suede sandals from DSW and a furry handbag.  Topped off with a statement necklace from Murano, Italy.  I love this look. It’s so comfortable and the satin gives off just enough shine and sparkle to feel appropriate for a holiday party with friends.

Monday:  I wore velvet jeggings by Ana from JC Penney.  They were only $14, 70% off!  YAY!  I’m wearing them with a mustard thin sweater from H&M (old) and floral combat boots by Diba from DSW (new).  I’ve added a gold necklace and bracelet that match and a statement purple stone ring (old).

Tuesday:  Shoe day!  I’m showing two pictures, one in the sun and one in the shade.  I’m wearing a new pink velvet pleated skirt by A New Day from Target.  The red sweater is not new and the red sock boots are my absolute favorite boots and they are from Zara.  No jewelry was needed with this bright outfit.  I just added new red lipstick by Fenty Beauty by Rhianna from Sephora.

Wednesday:  Okay, I admit!  I was so cold in this picture.  I jumped out to take my OOTD pics and was done in less than a minute!  It was windy and mid-30’s out.  I’m wearing leopard pixie pants from Old Navy and a black short-sleeved blouse with a built in choker by Cable & Gauge from Marshall’s (only $14 on clearance). The red blazer is from Forever 21 and is several years old.  The black pumps by Nine West are also over a year old.

Thursday:  Wearing a few of my favorite things.  Camo chino pants from Old Navy, faux fur pom pom beanie from Old Navy and burgundy combat boots by Chinese Laundry from DSW!  The new wine velour turtleneck sweater is from the Gap and I love it!  So soft and comfortable! Hard to have a bad day when you are so happy with what you are wearing!  right fashionistas?

Friday:  We had a fun holiday party at work and I dressed for the festive occasion.  I wore new santa socks from Target.  The tuxedo stripe jeggings are by ANA from JC Penney.  The red blouse is from H&M (on clearance for $10).  The black scarf is from Marshall’s.  Santa hat is old. 🙂

Saturday:  We had 3 holiday parties to attend today!  This is what I wore to 2 of them.  The tulle skirt is from Amazon.  The black bodysuit is by Commando.  The black obi belt is from Chicos.  The faux fur bolero is from Lulus.com.  Suede black mules are from Zara.  Drop earrings from Chicos.  Overall it was such a fun outfit to wear. I received several compliments on my skirt.  It was a Carrie Bradshow (Sex in the City) moment!

Bridging the Gap.  My 30+ year old niece wore the same tulle skirt from Amazon to a holiday party in Florida that her 50+ year old aunt wore to a holiday party in Colorado.  22 years and several miles separate us but our similar style keeps us close!  I love how she dressed her skirt down with a jean shirt and converse sneakers.  Love the versatility of the skirt.

Thank you for reading my blog.  Your comments and suggestions are welcomed as I’m new to blogging.  I hope you had a great week!
