Sunday:  Wearing the headband I received from a Fashionista Holiday Gift Exchange.  I received so many wonderful vintage pieces from #beautyandthethrift

Monday:  No pics today.  This was the day we had to say goodbye to Sebastian. The sweetest most perfect doggy! I’m gonna miss him so much.  Too many tears for an OOTD pic.

Tuesday:  Wearing a velvet dress from Old Navy and a cream long cardigan by Lucky Brand (old).  The snakeskin pumps are probably 20 years old!  I’m wearing a cream wooden beaded necklace from Tri Vintage & Wares from Lafayette, CO.

Wednesday:  Wearing a faux leather skirt from Target’s Who What Wear collection (2016), a new velvet top from Old Navy, a red scarf and red lips.  Finishing up this OOTD with fishnet socks and black pumps by Nine West (old).

Thursday:  I wore the fringe black suit from H&M today.  I attended The Boulder Area  Human Resource Association holiday luncheon.  I won a book!  The book, “HR on Purpose” is by Steve Browne.  I’m excited to read it.  Always good to see my HR friend, Jo Ann too.  I’m liking my new beret from H&M.  Today I added jewelry shapes to my fun suit.  The triangle silver bracelet and a silver balls necklace are both from Italy.

Friday:  Keeping it casual with jean jeggings by A.N.A. from JC Penney, a basic white tee with a patch sewn on DIY style (patch from Amazon) and a black and white windowpane coat (years old) by Jones New York.  White sneakers are from Target last summer.

Saturday: Groutfit.  Wearing a gray silk dress from Banan Republic that is 10+ years old.  Still loving it! I wore the self belt as a neck scarf.  The gray velvet duster is from Forever21.  only $18!  Wearing gray suede shoes by Joe’s Jeans (old).  My neighbor/friend’s new 12 week old puppy joined in my photo shoot today.  Such a sweet puppy.

I cried a lot this week. I miss my Sebastian.  We are still looking for him when we get home.  Listening for his tail wagging when we wake up.  Expecting him to come begging when we eat.  He was a faithful, sweet, loving puppy each day of his 9.5 years.  Without fail.

Thank you for reading my blog and following along in my adventures.  Your comments and suggestions are appreciated as I’m still new to blogging.

Xo, Cindy

  1. When I saw this photo of the puppy on FB, I almost thought you got a new one already. And I wouldn’t blame you one iota. When our other kitty got put down, it wasn’t but 2 days later that we had to go rescue another. You wouldn’t think it would make a difference, but it’s so hard.
But on a happier note, do you know Modern Sage Designs? She was our sponsor for this month’s #thriftedchicstylechallenge and I just found out she lives in Erie??? You ought to follow her on Instagram and DM her??!!!!
Love and prayers to you and Dray!!!

    • Jodi, we are going to try living without a pet for awhile. I’ve had a dog for 32 consecutive years!! That’s a lot of dog hair! ha! I do miss Sebastian so much. Still kinda weepy about losing him. I’m following Modern Sage Designs now. I love her jewelry! Hope you have a Merry Christmas! xo Cindy
