What I Wore This Week 3/1818 – 3/24/18

Hello Spring!

The sunrise cast a pretty pink hue on the clouds and the snowy Rockies are beautiful!

Monday:  Wore a sleeveless trench from Free People. I love the distressed hem.  I’m wearing leather leggings by Trouve from Nordstrom (still available online), a black turtleneck with a fur collar from Zara and the bib necklace is by Free People.  My black combat shoes are a weekly staple.  They are made by Soda and purchased from Amazon (still available online).

Tuesday:  Wearing a sweater over a dress and mixing prints! Shopping my closet for new outfit ideas.  This polka dot B/W dress is by Vince Camuto from Dillards (old) and the black fringe sweater is by Michael Kors from Marshall’s.  I’m wearing black tights and black floral boots by Diba from DSW (old).  My bib necklace is from Chico’s (old).

Wednesday:  Textures!  I’m wearing a silky pleated dress from H&M (it was $4 last year) with a gray velvet duster from Forever 21.  For added warmth, I’m wearing black leggings, black sock boots by Mia from DSW and a scarf.  The scarf added gold to this black and silver outfit.  I’m wearing a gold and silver necklace (not captured in this shot).  Shopping my closet again! Pop of red lips with Fly Girl color of Lip Sense.

Thursday:  Mixing prints in a subtle way.  Dark floral blouse by Liz Claiborne from JC Penney.  I found this blouse on clearance for $12.  Black cardigan by Verve ami from Marshall’s.  Frayed hem jeans by Hudson from Nordstrom.  Mesh socks with stripes by Mix No. 6 from DSW.  Black pumps by Nine West.

Friday:  I wore a black sweatshirt with fur trim from H&M shopping and dining with friends.  Yes, this is me trying on a Dr. Suess hat in Target!

Saturday:  I wore a camouflage jacket by Sanctuary from Marshall’s and a black leather choker from Charming Charlies to the Wild Animal Sanctuary in Colorado.  It was so windy there were no good OOTD pics to be taken!

I hope you had a wonderful week last week.  Now bring on that Spring weather right!

Thank you so much for reading my blog and following along with my adventures.

xo, Cindy

    • I love the Wild Animal Sanctuary. It was quite windy that day and many of the bears weren’t out of hibernation yet. I’d suggest going on a summer day (bring sunscreen and a sun hat – as there is no shade). It’s also nice to go from afternoon to closing – the animals get active closer to sundown. It takes a few hours to see it all – so allow plenty of time.

Garden of the Gods is beautiful to drive thru and it was so fun to ride horses there. Definitely worth going – great hiking opportunity too.
